Florence Irene Gabriel, 80

Florence Irene Gabriel (nee O'Leary) died on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Richard Gabriel for 57 years. Loving mother of Anna Mae Gabriel (Jack Skeie), Rita Gabriel (Jack Sidsworth), Tom (Bonnie), Peter (Bette) and Robert (Mandy). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew (Sandra), Kevin, Ian, William, Alyson and Colin, and great granddaughter Hannah. Dear sister of Genevieve, Rita, Alice, Gerry and the late Daniel, Kenneth, John, Norine and Paul. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Prayers were held at the Oshawa Funeral Home on Monday, January 31. Mass of Christian Burial was held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Tuesday, February 1st at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Mary of the People Building Fund or Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
