RR needs doctor to keep ER open past Oct. 3rd

On October 3, Dr. Beller starts driving to his new home on Vancouver Island. After that, we are down to one doctor (Dr. David Singleton), and he can NOT run the 24-hour emergency room alone.

We have had a couple of nibbles from locum doctors who can cover part of October and November, but that’s it so far. Know anybody who has a job related to medicine? Please ask them to ask around! We need the Rainy River network to help prevent a closure.
News will start coming to you here again now - the summer has been a flurry of activity as attention got urgently redirected to recruitment issues.

WE NEED A FAMILY/EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTOR HERE - IF YOU KNOW ANYBODY WHO MIGHT KNOW A DOCTOR WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD. We can’t keep our ER open for long with only one doc --and that’s what we’ll have as of October 3, 2011.
