Attention RR Producers: Urgent action required

Applications for Canada Ontario Farm Stewardship Program (COFSP) Year 4 cost-share funding for farm projects identified in your Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) action plan are expected to be available on September 15, 2011. As in previous years, funding will be allocated to potential projects on a first come basis as completed applications are processed. Total funding in Ontario is limited.
Eligible projects will be completed after September 15, 2011 through 2012. The eligible project list of 28 categories should be similar to that of last year - the white booklet Project Eligibility Policy and Procedures distributed at workshops, and available online at www.ontariosoilcrop.org.
This will be the final year for COFSP. Each farm business is eligible for a maximum of $30,000 COFSP funding from 2009 to 2013.
Attention Rainy River Producers -URGENT ACTION REQUIRED
This is an important notice to all producers applying for cost share funding under the Environmental Farm Plan Program.
Funds are limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. This year we will be taking applications and registering these applications via internet on September 15.
PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

To be eligible to submit applications, farmers must:
-have a completed, reviewed and deemed appropriate 3rd edition EFP (since 2005);
-have a valid Farm Business Registration Number (OFA, CFFO number);
-have a Business Number (nine digits plus RC0001) if applying under your business name, or a SIN if applying under individual name;
-have a Premises ID Number Certificate.
On Thursday, September 15th please come prepared to complete the application form, which will be provided there, and we will get you registered immediately.
Remember funds are limited and the program fills up quickly so this is your opportunity
