A farewell tea for Dr. Beller is in the works

Ten members came to our September meeting, after a summer break that seemed way to short. Where did the time go?
President Joyce Penner welcomed us back and we opened with the Auxiliary Prayer.
In the absence of our secretary, we had no minutes from the last meeting. Treasurer Dawn Jarvis gave the financial report.
There was no correspondence and no old business. The special committee gave their reports and all seems to be going well.
In new business; Bridgette McGreevy and Dawn Jarvis attended a Lottery Commission meeting earlier in the summer, and had a pamphlet on what we can and can't do. We will not be able to have our hook, line and sinker draw at the Walleye Tournament. It was also decided by the members not to do the Bingo.
Some of our members were helping to assemble the 50/50 tickets for the locum housing project. This draw will be held at the walleye tournament on September 24.
It was reported there will be a "Farwell Tea" for the Bellars on September 25 at the Legion at 2 p.m. Some of our members will make pans of dainties.
This concluded our meeting, the next one is October 4 at 1:30 at the Hospital.
P.S. Our 50/50 tickets (draw) for the Christmas Bazaar will be out soon. The Bazaar is December 4.
