Monday Rainy River Town Council held a special meeting to set the wheels in motion for the next step in building a house for locum doctors and medical students.
Council passed a bylaw to authorize Mayor Deb Ewald and and Acting Town Administrator Lisa Mosher to sign a letter of Authorizaton for Saulteaux Consulting and Engineering to let the tenders.
The bylaw pays Saulteaux $13,480.90 to proceed to the next stage.
Council had copies of the tender package for review and once the authorization is signed they should be let.
