By Michael Dawber
CEO/Librarian

Rainy River – Free computer lessons are back at the Rainy River Public Library!
Thanks to a grant from Industry Canada’s Community Access Program (CAP), the library will offer computer lessons until the end of March.
Our computer trainer, Shauna, will be available Tuesday s from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Shauna will also have lessons on Saturdays. Times available are 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Lessons are 30 minutes of one-on-one training. You must book your lesson ahead of time.
Shauna can help you with all the computer basics, including using the Internet and email.
To book a time, please call the library at 807.852.3375 or email rainycap@gmail.com.
The library also has pre-school storytime on Fridays.
Librarian Michael Dawber is reading his way across the rainbow. We also have great crafts to make and games to play.
We’ve already had stories about red and orange. Our next destination is yellow!
Storytime is free for caregivers and children up to age six.
The program runs each Friday at 11:00 a.m. until November 25.
And, did you know the library has received more than 60 new DVDs and over 200 new books in the past month?
Through the Ontario Ministry of Culture’s Capacity Building Fund, we’ve invested almost $6,000 in new materials.
Check out great DVD titles like Inception, True Grit, Rio, Rango, andSoul Surfer. We look forward to seeing you soon!
