Almost time for the Christmas bazaar!

We had a very nice turn out for our November 1st meeting. Sixteen members showed up.
We opened with our auxiliary Prayer, then Carolee read the minutes of the last meeting, followed with Dawn Jarvis giving the financial report.
Business arising from the minutes; the Halloween Party for the long term residents was a great success. Many unique costumes were reported and the seniors really enjoyed the party.
The Bath tub for the acute care ward has been installed and used. There has not been any new news for the tub for the long term care patients.
New Business; The Christmas Bazaar appeal letters will be out shortly. Bev Langner gave a report on the Riverside Foundation meeting. There will be a wreath Raffle at Rainycrest. Also Wayne Woods, C.E.O. of the Riverside Foundation will be retiring at the end of March. They are helping to find doctors for us. Gill Stamler reported on a Riverside Board meeting. She is our auxiliary rep.
The 50/50 tickets for our Christmas draw are out. It will be drawn at our Bazaar on December 4th, at the Legion. Again I remind you, donations to the Penny table should be at Carolee Hogues house by November 25, name of item and cost needed. If this is not convenient for you let Dawn Jarvis know the cost and item you have and bring it in on December 3rd, when we will be setting up. Dawns phone number is 852-3952. Betty Blight will contact you for pies.
Our next meeting is a Luncheon at the Roadside, December 6th at 12:30, cost is $10.00. Leave money at the Bake shop by November 21 please.
