Drivers needed on Wednesdays

Our December meeting was a luncheon at the Roadside Restaurant. It was a cold day, and the hot soup, sandwiches, tea and coffee tasted great. Thank you girls.
Our regular meeting followed, opening with the auxiliary prayer. The minutes were read and the financial statement given. All bills were not in yet, but by all reports the Bazaar was very successful. News from the Social Committees, Elsie Gerula did very well at her "tuck shop" table, and eight new members joined our group.
New Business: There was a Christmas Party for the long term residents on December 12th, that we will hosted. Joyce Penner will looked after the Christmas favours, and several of our members the lunch and serving.
Darlene Armstrong will take care of the group at the station. We do need drivers for this group, not just now, but at anytime. If you can drive on a Wednesday afternoon, phone Darlene at 852-3876.
Joyce reported the bathtub for the long term wing is here, but needs installing. Let's hope the wait isn't too long for this.
Our meeting concluded, we adjourned. The next meeting is January 3 at 1:30 at the hospital. It would be great to have our new members coming to this.
