4–H News: Learning about ball games

The first meeting of A Sporting Chance was called to order. Kim Desserre put us into groups of three.
We had to think of games that have balls in them. After that, we compared what each team though of. The we all said the 4-H pledge.
Afterwards we introduced ourselves. Kim asked each of us "What is your favourite ball game?" We all answered the question. Then we held elections, and the results are as follows: President - Madison Williams; Vice President - Andrea Schram; Secretary #1 - Kurt Desserre; Secretary #2 - Morgan Desserre; Secretary #3 - Ben Olsen; Secretary #4 - Mackenzie Jolicouer; Attendance - Aynsley Williams & News Reporter - Alanna Gerula.
After that, we talked about Choosing the Right Sport for you, Benefits of Physical Activity. (What you can do) eg. take a bike ride, go for a walk, dance to music, play games like catch, kick the can or even hopscotch).
Then we went outside to play games (eg. 4-H & soccer). (If you are wondering what the game 4-H is, it is tag with a ball). Until next time.
