Almost Relay for Life time!

Twelve members and one guest were present for our first meeting in 2012.
We opened with the auxiliary prayer, followed by Carolee reading the minutes of the last meeting. They were approved as read.
The financial statement was given by Dawn Jarvis, and it to was approved as read.
There was no business arising from the minutes. Correspondence was a letter from, Relay for Life, thanking us for past assistance and inviting us to again take part in this years event. It is on June 22, at the Riverview School
Area, same as in the past. They are looking for teams. To register a team phone Melissa Jensen at 852-4576, and get the full particulars.
New Business; we welcomed our guest, Ida Maryniuk, who joined us as a member.
Valentine's Day Parties will be discussed at our next meeting. The birds also came up, and was discussed at length. Some feel the long term residents are not really interested in them, no one outside of Carla Books is prepared to look after them, etc.
There will be more discussion on this topic at the next meeting.
Our next meeting is February 7 at 1 o'clock at the hospital. Note the change of time.
