The Beautification committee met on Jan.19, 2012.
They summed up 2011 as a successful year.
Many people bought memorial flower baskets to make our streets beautiful.
The school students and many teachers helped with clean up of town and park.
Thank you very much for your help.
A group of young people from Michigan helped out by painting the gazebo at the park and painting the fire hydrants north of the tracks. We were very grateful for their help.
Our many local volunteers are much appreciated for hours spent cleaning at the park, planting and weeding our flower boxes.
Lengths of fencing for the cemetery were purchased in memory of loved ones. The fencing will be installed in the spring however many lengths are still needed. The cost of 3ft.of fencing with plaque is $100.00. Please support this great project.
The memorial flower baskets are a great asset to the beauty of our town. Please continue to help us by purchasing these baskets. They will still be $40.00 this year paid at the town office.
Our project besides installing the fence will be the clean up of Hannam Park. In April we are planning a fund raising supper for our park. Please watch for date and time.
The next meeting will be April 5,2012 at 5P.M. at the R.R.A.D. Everyone is VERY WELCOME.
