Legion Chat: Only Kenora has more members than us

I want to remind our members that Wednesday, March 28 is our General Meeting.
1st Vice-president Marlene McNally and I attended the District Rally, that was held in Fort Frances this past Saturday.

At that meeting we had a member of MAN/NW ONT Command in attendance and its was nice to hear the thoughts of our higher-ups. The Fort Frances Ladies Auxiliary served a good lunch and an excellent banquet meal. I will be able to thank them in person, as about 20 Auxiliary members will be attending the District Rally here in Rainy River this weekend.

Speaking of said rally we still need potato mashers, veggie cookers, servers and cleaner-uppers for Saturday, March 31. There will be live entertainment on Friday night, plus beer, and brats on a bun.
The ladies also will have a dance on Saturday night at with a theme of Disney.
Coming up in April is the thousand dollar dance and the tickets are moving quickly.
Did you know that our membership is second only to Kenora in our district. Every member should be proud of that.
