Legion Chat: The joint was a jumping!

The joint was jumping! Our Branch hosted the Ladies Auxiliary District Rally this past weekend, and the Ladies did a fine job entertaining, working to provide lunches and running the business part of the Rally.
It was my first time at one of these Auxiliary Rallys and I think I picked up some ideas. At this time I want to acknowledge the Branch members who helped with the Banquet, Kelly, Harry, Marlene and Manny for peeling potatoes. To Bob for preparing the beef, Deb, Earl, Stephanie, Vicky, Terry and the two students Cassie Wells and Catherine Abbott for serving and clean up duty. I hope I didn't miss anyone. Oh yeah, thanks to Barb for helping organize and setting up the work parties.
And now to our day to day business. We are raising our drink and beer prices to $3.75 because Brewer's Retail has raised their prices three times within a year. I don't like to do this, but inflation is rearing its ugly head.
