Strawberry Social set for May 9th

With 15 members present we held our regular meeting on April 3, opening by all reading the auxiliary Prayer, followed by the reading of the minutes and financial reports. Both approved as read.
We continued with Bev Langner giving her report on the Riverside Foundation meeting. The Jewelry Party sponsored by the Foundation is May 6 and we booked a table for 8. The Canada Lottery tickets will be out soon.
The Auxiliary Conference is in Dryden, April 20 & 21 but at our meeting no one was prepared to go. Let Joyce known if you wish to go.
Correspondence: Chem Free Party at the High School. We will donate $50.00 towards this.
Graduation Bursary: After some discussion it was decided we give $1000.00 towards a student going on in the medical field of education.
Relay for Life, we will again donate $200.00 towards this to be used for Breakfast, etc.
Corporate Membership for the Riverside Health Care Facilities are now available. Get ours at the desk in the hospital by April 22, they are $3.00 and are required to be a voting member at the annual meeting on June 28 in Emo.
New Business: The Strawberry Social is on May 9th at the Legion. We will have a penny table, draws, plants etc. Items for the penny table are needed and can be left at Carolee Hogues house. Phone first 852-3392, to be sure she is home. Have the items there by May 3, please.
It was suggested by one of our members we buy a computer/printer for use by our auxiliary members, to keep intact all previous and new date; ie. projects, membership, etc. Bridgette McGreevy will bring more info on this to our next meeting, which is on May 1st at the Hospital.
