Legion Chat: Can you solve this mystery?

We have a mystery.
The old flag that was stolen 50 years ago, showed up at the branch, and has everyone speculating about who the culprit is.
I am assuming that he is in his 60’s or 70’s and he is on line, because he is up to date on our changes in leadership.
At the time of the flag removal, the cenotaph was where the Roadside Restaurant is now.
The president then was probably Lloyd Hodges.
This flag is a piece of history all right as it was before our Maple Leaf flag.
I want to commend our flag hoister for hanging on to it for 50 years.
I want to acknowledge his donation of a new flag (this is now Ontario’s official flag).
I am wondering if he is presently a legion member. If not, come to Rainy River and we will make you one just to thank you for your honesty.
