Met best friend from 58 years ago at centennial

Dear Editor:
Rainy River did itself proud! The extended week was beyond expectations!
Thousands will not write to express their memories and their enjoyment. The memories of the past friendships will last a lifetime. I know mine will. The meeting of old school mates of 55-60 years past, the visit to my best friends of 58 years past, the parade, the events but the best feeling of all was the hospitality.
I wish to convey to all the residents of my home town and the rural areas that made the centennial the very best, my thanks.
