Where were the results?

It was wonderful to see your August 10, 2004 front page pic of part of the celebrations in Bergland on August 8, 2004, but extremely disappointing to find no follow-up on any of the other festivities.
Thanks and appreciation go out to all who organizes and participated in these events, with all proceeds (unofficial total on Aug 10 of $3000.00 plus) going to worthy causes.
Personally, I ind it unfortunate that your paper chose not to report on all the festivities, despite advance notification. It appears that unless it’s fishing or fighting (council), anything north of Sleeman is not newsworthy.

Editor’s Note: I did call one of the organizers last Monday to get the complete results. I left a message and did not receive a return call. The results are in this week’s paper as we did not receive them until it was too late for last week.
