More congratulations on a job well done

Dear Editor,
We would like to congratulate all of the people of Rainy River for throwing the best party ever!! Thanks so much to all of the volunteers who made this possible and the people of the town for putting up with all the traffic jams etc.
To whomever was responsible for re-uniting “THE UTHER WUNZ” my special thanks. I was in High School with most of these guys and was so great to see them perform again. I have seen “FREE RIDE” perform in Winnipeg and they also were tremendous.
We especially enjoyed the cardboard and duct tape boat races on Sunday.
That was such a hoot!
The only negative comment I have is the pictures of “THE UTHER WUNZ” in your special edition of The Record. Where was Loren Whalen, one of the founding members of this band??
All in all, it was a fabulous weekend and one we will remember forever.
