Pequana to hold annual meeting

Review of Recent Activities
Pequana Playhouse’s board met August 14th to discuss the past year’s activities and the upcoming year.
Pequana’s Relay For Life team, the HealthTones, raised over $2,500, thanks in large part to Chris Dillman’s fund-raising bicycle ride to Duluth and back. In addition, the musical group by the same name (HealthTones) was included in the entertainment for the event,and performed several songs, primarily from the fifties.
Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre production of “Alladin and His Magic Lamp” was held the week of June 28 through July 3. The event was very successful with 36 local children and adults attending the week-long workshop and performing on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Upcoming Events
The annual meeting will be held September 17, at First Lutheran Church in Baudette. Registration begins at 5:30 pm and supper will be served at 6:00 pm. Two board positions are up for re-election.
A Halloween-themed murder mystery dinner theater will be held in October. Final arrangements are in process and will be announced.
The annual variety show is scheduled for November 19 and 20 at the Lake of the Woods School Auditorium.
