Bessie M. Ball
Bessie M. Ball nee Farrer passed away in Kingston, Ontario, on January 22, 2012. Bessie was born and raised in Rainy River, Ontario, and also lived in International Falls, Minnesota, for approximately 40 years before moving to Kingston, Ontario in 1999. She was preceded in passing by her husband Joseph E. Ball, born and raised in Fort Frances, Ontario; and her parents Eva and Ernest Farrer, sisters Mina Bell and Lorna Ronning , and Hiram Farrer, all of Rainy River, Ontario.
There will be a short gravesite Prayer and Internment at the Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls, MN, at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 14 followed by a Reception and Light Lunch between 11:30 and 1:00pm at the Faith United Church. The Cemetery is located on the south side of Internation Falls, just east of Highway 53 on Memorial Drive, (County Highway 7); and the Church is located at 1001, 5th Street. Friends and family are welcome to attend both functions.
Bessie Ball is survived by her son, James (Roxayn) of Austin, Texas; daughter Maureen Ball (Tom Williams) of Kingston, Ontario; and son Brian (SuzAnn) of Bemidji, Minnesota ; grandchildren Lisa (Ball) Kent (Bryan), Ryan Ball, Hilary Farson, Justin Ball, and Aryn Ball; and great grandchildren Ciara and Camden Kent. She will also be fondly remembered by Tom Williams’ children and their families.
