Back to business after summer break

After a very busy summer, we had 15 members come to our regular September meeting. It was nice to see you all back. There was not a great deal of business to take care of, however it was noted our Pergola is built; thanks to Rick Bourre and Otto for putting it up. The patients are enjoying it, and there has also been a wedding held in it.
The correspondence included reports from the Spring Conference in Kenora and the Fall executive meeting at Fort Frances. Myrna Armstrong and Laureen Hannam attended this, and Laureen gave her report as well. Her report included fund raising ideas from the different auxiliarys in the area, some new, but many we are already doing here.
Myrna and Laureen will also be representing our auxiliary at the H.A.A .O. Conference being held in Toronto on November 15th and 16th.
The committees gave their reports. We are looking for ideas for the Christmas Bazaar raffle, bring them to the next meeting. Laureen Hannam presented the bursary of $400.00 from the auxiliary to Mathew Ashworth at the graduation ceremonies. Congratulations Mathew.
Our next meeting is on October 4 at the hospital unless other wise informed by the phoning committee.
Also there was a jacket left at the hospital by someone who helped make sandwiches for our centennial tea. If it is yours, we have it at the Tuck Shop. We are open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.
