Sometime between July 1st and August 17th of this year someone broke into a seasonal residence situated on Mill Road in Hudson. Once entry was gained approximately $1200.00 worth of fishing equipment and US manufactured liquor was stolen.
Between the 18th and 23rd of July this year someone cut down a white pine tree in the vicinity of the Little Dalles on the Winnipeg River. In this tree was a nest that contained one or two immature bald eagles, and when the tree was cut down it fell towards the water. Anyone with information as to the fate of these Eagles please call the Ministry of Natural Resources or Crime Stoppers.
On Wednesday, Sept. 22nd around 9 p.m. a lone male, between 5’5” - 5’ 8”, approximately 150 lbs, wearing a black balaclava and clothing, with white running shoes, armed with a handgun, entered the East End Confectionary. The suspect demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store on foot.
Since September 13th someone took a 2003 17ft Lund Outfitter boat with a 50hp motor and a white Easyload trailer from a camp on Oak Lake. Also taken were two 2003-5hp outboard motors. Value $28,000.00
