Arts festival set for Nov. 6th

The 10th Annual Lake of the Woods Arts & Crafts Festival will take place Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake of the Woods School Commons. Vendor and crafter letters were sent out to previous participants earlier this month. If you haven’t received a letter but would like to reserve a spot at the festival, please contact event chairperson Dani Birkeland at 634-2811.
This year’s festival promises to be another great way to kick off the fall shopping season. Food and entertainment will be provided throughout the day, including a performance by the Just for Kix dancers. One change this year is that we will be selling Butter Braids on the spot, rather than taking orders for future delivery. We hope you can join us for this special event.
The Arts & Crafts Festival is sponsored by the Lake of the Woods Women of Today. The LWWT meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Brink Center in Baudette. Contact Sariina Kalli, 783-3006, for more information.
