Did you miss someone during Homecoming Weekend, or want to keep that fantastic meeting from fading, or provide friends and family with a great view of the Big Bash? The Rainy River Centennial Committee has the perfect gift- its Centennial Memories Video.
There was so much going on during that party it was near impossible to take it all in.
During Homecoming Weekend the Centennial Committee hired the services of Jadmart Video to record, then edit and compile, a remarkable 90-minute collection of the faces and events of our Centennial.
“It is simply marvellous,” enthused Jeanette Armstrong, upon completing 90 minutes glued to her TV, previewing the tape.
“And the little kids are simply adorable,” added Norma Elliott, chair of the Events Committee.
The tape includes a complete look at the parade, the longest in Rainy River’s history, plus extensive coverage of historical photos, the Fashion Show, Duct Tape Boat Races, Show & Shine, Entertainers... and faces... hundreds of them... from our most senior community members, to our most recent arrivals.
Expanded recordings of the music events held over Homecoming Weekend will be available at a later date, directly from Jadmart Video. Details of their cost and availability will be included with your Centennial Memories Video
The Centennial Memories video is now available as a VHS tape for $25.00. A DVD disk will be available shortly for $30.00.
