Fabulous job on the centennial edition

Letter to the editor,
I’ve just learned that my Grandfather’s only sister, ANNIE (Bridget) KEARNEY died Dec.6, 1883 “at a young age.”
I’m wondering if there was perhaps an obituary in the Rainy River (Beaver Mills) or Fort Frances newspaper at the time?
Do you know if any area newspapers were being published in Dec. of 1883, what the newspapers name might be, and if I’m able to follow this search up by searching through a microfilmed copy for a possible obituary?
You folks did a fabulous job with that Centennial newspaper. I purchased them in bulk and distributed some to people I knew who’d be very interested.
Just received a thank you today, and praises about the articles, from someone who lives in Edmonton who, because of health reasons, wasn’t able to be in Rainy for the Centennial. That particular paper is a keeper!
