High school hockey at its best!

Orono Spartans, the No. 2 ranked Class A High School Hockey team in Minnesota, visited the LOW Bears on Friday, Dec. 3. The stands were packed. The fans were expectant - the teams played. This was high school hockey at its best. Fast and furious and fun. The two teams battled each other in the Junior Varsity game with Orono winning 3-2 and then in the Varsity game. LOW winning 2-1 in OT.
Hockey fans, it was an exciting and entertaining game to watch. The boys played with passion, skill and intensity. There were breakaways, fanning in front of an open net, goalies rushing to the bench (mistakenly), pucks hitting the pipe and overtime. Come out and cheer on Chad Armstrong, Joel Ashworth, Greg & Jeremy Beller, Andy Moen and Matt Morrison as these Canadian boys play the best sport in the world!
