Another robbery in Fort Frances

(Fort Frances, Ontario) The Fort Frances OPP assisted by the Northwest Region Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating a robbery that occurred on January 3rd, 2005 just before 4:00 p.m. A male suspect entered Einar’s Food Store at 610 Scott Street, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect left the store on foot with no money.
The suspect is described as being approximately 5’5”, dark complexion, wearing a dark toque, and camouflage scarf, and wearing dark winter clothing. He was carrying a camouflage duffle bag.
Anyone who may have observed the suspect in the area of Scott Street or First Street East, or has any other information regarding this crime, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2000 for information leading to the arrest of criminal offenders.
