R.R. Hospital Auxiliary

We opened our regular meeting with only eight members present. All joined in reading the auxiliary prayer, followed by Jessie Bodnarchuk reading the minutes and Myrna Armstrong giving the financial report.
The only business arising from the minutes: re aviary we had discussed getting for the long term residents, however this is still just a discussion.
Correspondence included, thank you from Doreen Kaus for card received, a thank you from Tammy McNally for the pergola we purchased for the residents last summer, thank you from Nicole Therrien for supporting the exercise program.
We purchased an Elliptical machine (star trac runners plus) to be used in this program, at a cost of approx $6500.00. This machine will belong to the Auxiliary, but be used in the program; a letter from RIverside Foundation asking if we were in favour of each auxiliary in the district having a representative on their board. All were in favour, and they will be notified of such. Our spring conference will be in April and will be at Atikokan the second week of April. More information to follow; Dorothy Markusson resigned from looking after the H.E.L.P tickets as of March 2005. We are needing a replacement.
Since there was no new business at this time, our meeting adjourned. Our next meeting is Feb. 7 at the hospital at 1:30.
