Legion Chat: Kirk Wood wins the boat!

I want to start this article by acknowledging our volunteers that worked the Walleye Tournament. To the Colour Party for leading the Boat Parade they looked really good, to the Steak Fry workers, many praises. I also would like to offer Kudo's to Ken Jasper for the good work, he is doing on the cement work on the North side of the Club.
Congratulations to Kirk Wood on winning the Walleye Boat.
Ann Desrosier and I will be attending a leadership seminar in Emo on October 13th. I am always willing to learn, and to better my performance on behalf of the Legion.
We will be working on Octoberfest which will take place on October 20th, Brats, Sauerkraut (donated by Gisela Mykytyn) potato pancakes like Mom made, etc.
We will have prizes for a polka contest, and pitchers of Beer. I will close by reminding our Executive there is a meeting on October 18th.
