Legion Chat: Poppy sales begin this week

Poppies, Poppies, Poppies: The poppies will be out on the streets and in the stores this week.
Did you know that poppy funds are made available through the generosity of the Canadian Public and these funds are held in trust and can't be used in the General Fund of the Branch?
This week the General Meeting has been moved back to Thursday, Nov. 1 so as to not conflict with Halloween.
Wreath contributions and membership dues are progressing. Wreath monies are also a part of the Poppy Fund.
There will be a Brat & Beer Night this Friday.
The Remembrance Day program is progressing. I am looking at a few small changes.
