Legion Chat: We will remember them

We will remember them. This thought will echo through our minds for a while, until everyday pressures push it aside. The Legion will try to keep it in the forefront for the rest of the year.
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal presented to Gerry Marchuk was the highlight of the evening. Good Job Ladies Auxiliary for the excellent meal.
Our gratitude to John Rafferty for making the drive from Thunder Bay and bringing the Medal.
Praises to the RRHS's Georgina Jarvis and Laura Armistead and the students for conduction an excellent Remembrance Day Service. The Legion was honoured and proud to be a part of it.
The Chamber Banquet is a go, get your tickets from Richard, Melanie or Grace.
I want to take this opportunity to praise our Legion members on the town staff who did an good job sanding our parking lot and sidewalks. It ought to be worth a free beer.
