Plans in the works for Christmas

With 18 members present we opened our regular meeting, by all reading the opening prayer, followed with the reading of the minutes, financial statement and reports from the special committees.
Since there was no old business, we carried on into new business, ie; the Bazaar on December 2nd at the Community Centre, the Hospital Party for the long term residents and the appreciation luncheon.
Christmas Bazaar: at the Community Centre on December 2nd from 2 - 4 p.m., cost $3.00 which includes pie, coffee or tea, indoor draws, the 50/50 draw, a bake less bake table box, and penny table.
Penny table items are needed, and can be left at Carloee Hogue's house or phone Dawn Jarvis at 852-3952 naming the item and the cost, and have it at the centre by 2 p.m. on December 1st as well will be setting up then.
Hospital x-mas party: This will be on December 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the activity room. There will be entertainment, and Angle food cake, strawberries and ice cream or cool whip.
Appreciation Luncheon: This is for all Past and Present members of the Rainy River Auxiliary, on December 4 at the Legion at 12:30 p.m. The luncheon is sponsored by the Riverside Health Care. I will be phoning past members, however you can also phone me, 852-3270 if you are able to come.
Also, at our Bazaar we will have a special "Sales Table" of Tuck shop items.
The meeting was adjourned, our next one will be right after the Luncheon.
