Legion Chat: Club was a hopping!

Merry Christmas. It was a busy week. The Ladies Dinner was a success, thanks to Bob's handling of the roast and the gravy. Deb's stuffing and her dessert was also greatly appreciated and praises to our high school volunteers Nick Pearson and Jeremy Trenchard. Their cleaning and serving was much needed.
I must also acknowledge our Sgt. at Arms Terry for the wine serving. The Ladies donation will help our bottom line.
The Christmas party was also a success. Kudos to Martin and Cammy for handling the Turkey Shoot. The potluck was fabulous. Heather Anderson was the happy winner of the 50/50 draw. Kelly and Barb did a masterful job; Kelly for organizing and Barb for selling the tickets.
Seeing as next Wednesday falls on a holiday and we have no pushing business our General Meeting for Dec. will be cancelled. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our staff and our members a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
