Your article on my Great Uncle, Eddie Joseph Anderson prompted me to do some more rummaging through my old photos and records. Indeed, the Anderson you wrote about who died in WWI was my great uncle. We have a picture of his grave as well as the location which match up with that in your story. We found a sympathy card from the Canadian PM which was addressed to Annie Anderson. I didn’t know my great grandmother went by that name. I think her grave marker shows just her middle name, but will check that in the spring. I have a few pictures of my great Uncle and his fellow soldiers that I would like to match up with some that might have names on them in your historical records as well as those at the Legion and historical Society. I also have some interesting Rainy River photos and postcards from the early 20th century.
