Legion Chat: Do you remember Chuck Hall?

Do you remember Charles (Chuck) Hall. He would come in to the Legion almost everyday and have his two shots of Rye. He always had a sunny disposition plus maybe a joke or two. The thing that I didn't know about Chuck is that he was a member of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, known as the Little Black Devils. His unit was the Second Wave in on Juno Beach. He went on to the end of the War through Caen - Carpiquet. Falaise Gap, Belgium, Holland and Germany. This shows us that you can never tell anything by appearances. Who knew that Chuck was a Little Black Devil.
I want to remind everyone about February 9th - Zone Meeting. Also Sunday Superbowl attendance was very low, and we will be debating about holding it next year. Until next time.
