Aux. ot hold Easter Basket draw

RR Legion Aux.

The local branch of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary held its monthly meeting on February 13th with President Val Nelson presiding. There were 14 members present.
There was no applications for memberships, and two new members were initiated. Karen Antonson and Krista Brusven, have joined the Auxiliary.
Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved. Treasurer Donna Ivall gave her account of the Auxiliary finances.
Correspondence was read and accounts authorized for payment.
A discussion took place regarding the District Convention to be held in April in Kenora.
We catered a lunch on Saturday, February 16, for the Snowmobile Class being held in the Legion Hall.
Reports of Committees were given.
Janet Wolanicki reported visiting ill members and taking them fruit baskets.
Marlene reported the meat draw profit was $189.59.
Beaty read a letter from the R.R. High School concerning the annual scholarship. We will be donating once again this year and also one to the Manitoba-North West Ont Scholarship Fund.
A motion was carried to donate $200.00 to the Royal Canadian Sports Foundation in Thunder Bay.
We will be holding a raffle for an Easter Basket. Tickets will be sold in the Legion.
