Chamber Chat: Trade show a big success!

The annual Rainy River & District Chamber of Commerce Trade show was held May 11th with a good attendance of nearly 300 people!
This year the center of the arena was cleared to allow for a Classic car show and although there were only a few cars due to the in-climate weather. Those that did come definitely impressed people.
Over 30 exhibitors were on hand to meet their patrons face to face, displaying their wares and introduce the public to the newest ideas and innovations.
Kid Sport as always had the children busy with activities and Smokey the Bear held them captivated.
The food that was served by the many vendors was absolutely irresistible and so mouthwatering.
The show featured candles, make-up, hair dressing and spa, financial, investing, insurance, education, sweaters, t-shirts, first aid training, auto repairs, spiritual services and so much more! There truly was something for everyone!
“This year was the launch pad for greater things in the future” said Chamber President, Richard Trenchard.
