Leo Joseph Langlais, 77

In loving memory of Leo Joseph Langlais who passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on April 13th, 2005, at the age of 77.
Leo was born on July 9th, 1927 in La Broquerie, Manitoba. He married Orise Langlais on April 19, 1949.
Leo Langlais is survived by his children; Leona (Rick) Mandryk of Thunder Bay, Claude (Diana) Langlais, Daniel (Anne) Langlais, Richard (Marg) Langlais, Janice Langlais, Colleen (Doug) Skomoroh, Michael (Cathy) Langlais, Paul (Sandra) Langlais, Guy (Wendy) Langlais, Leo (Tracey) Langlais of Dryden; as well as 24 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Ann Asselen of Pinewood, Albert (Joanne) Langlais of Ear Falls, Alphonse (Annette) Langlais of Pinewood, Madeline Desaulniers of Kenora, Betty (Denis) Wensley of Nanaimo, B.C, mother-in-law Valeda Larocque of Pinewood, sisters-and brothers-in-law; Theresa Tyhy of Red Deer, Alberta, Philip (Marg) Larocque of Rainy River, Elise Boyda of Atikokan, Hubert (Marg) Larocque of Pinewood, Yvette Lauzon of Fort Frances and many nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by his parents Josephine and Francois Langlais, his wife Orise Langlais, his son Jerry Langlais, father-in-law Leonide Larocque, son-in-law Ken McDougald, grandsons Michael McDougald and Ryan Mandryk, sisters Lea Dubois, Rose Gouliquer, Francis Goodman, and Evelin Voodre.
Leo worked in the bush all his life. His greatest and proudest accomplishment was his large family. He loved to play crib and was an expert player. He was a very big-hearted person and was always helping everyone. He enjoyed touring on his scooter. Leo always enjoyed a good glass of wine.
Funeral Services for the late Leo Langlais were held Saturday, April 16th, 2005 at 1:30pm at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Dryden with Father Luigi Filippini officiating. Interment in the Dryden Cemetery.
Pall Bearers were Kevin Mandryk, Jason Langlais, Travis Langlais, Mike Langlais, Brent Mandryk, Nathan Langlais, and Matthew Langlais.
