Legion Chat: Everyone had a good time at Octoberfest

Oktoberfest was ok. I think everyone had a good time. I want to acknowledge the yeoman service my family put in. Kudos to Steph, Earl, Justin and Deb for all the preparations, cooking, serving and cleaning up. Also thanks to Anne, Barb, Bob, Evelyn, Marlene and Geraldine for their efforts. Couldn't have done it without you all.
There will be a General meeting on Wednesday, October 30 at 7 p.m. I am happy to say that membership dues are progressing nicely.
I found a piece of WWII memorabilia which will be hanging in the memory corner. It's a pillow case sent by Deb's father to her mother in 1945. It states as follows:

How is that for a blast from the past.
We will remember them.
