Bingo is going well

On December 2, 2013, nineteen members of the Rainy River Hospital Auxiliary met for a luncheon meeting at the Rainy River Legion where we all enjoyed a delicious lunch. Thank you to the Legion Ladies who made and served our lunch.
After lunch, President Joyce opened our meeting and asked the Sick and Visiting Committee of their recent activities. Beaty Nault and Ida Maryniuk will send cards to several members who have been ill. Please inform us if you know of any member who has been under the weather!
Jeanette Armstrong of the Social Committee mentioned that the Residents at the Long Term Care Unit enjoyed the Halloween Party and there will be a Christmas Party for the Residents, sponsored by the Hospital Auxiliary on December 13th. We will buy each Resident a small gift and several Auxiliary members will help serve the dessert.
The Auxiliary Bazaar on December 1st was a great success. Thank you to all who supported us in any way and a huge thank you to all the Businesses and the people of Rainy River for their generosity.
Bingo at the Hospital has been going very well but we need someone to volunteer to run it for a couple of months.
Our next meeting is planned for January 7, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the Rainy River Health Care Centre. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all !
