Legion Chat: Service Branch Officer needed
By Walter Wagner
President
Enjoyed the Super Bowl game, shut it off in the third quarter.
The Ground Hog couldn't dig his way our of the snowdrifts around here, so you just knew we were having an extended winter.
The volunteer for the year entries are slowly trickling in, much the same as the ticket sales for the Chamber's Dinner of Prime Rib and Dance for Valentines, the date for this is Saturday, February 15th, so get your ticket and come out and enjoy the evening. Tickets are available at various locations.
Our Executive is now complete after the installation of two members. The only office now left open is that of the Service Branch Officer. After years of sterling service, Joe Kaliska is retiring. I want to applaude Joe for his dedication and loyalty to our Branch.
On the 15th , several of our members will be travelling to Fort Frances for the Zone 72 meeting.
Not much else is going on the Branch, everyone is hanging close to the stove at home. That's why it would be good to take in the Valentine's Day Dinner and Dance, shake out the cob webs, and heap praise on your Volunteer of the Day. See you later.
