Squirrel Pie: Mud, mosquitoes and madness!

A couple years back some local wags were bemoaning the lack of rainfall across the Great Northwest. “The water table is dropping drastically, and the level of the rivers and lakes- even Superior will never come back. We will dry up and blow away!” was a common theme. Amazing how a good snowfall and a couple of ‘heavy dews’ can alter perceptions of reality.
