Family and Children’s Services needs volunteers

Family and Children’s Services of the District of Rainy River is pleased to announce that they now offer a volunteer program.
Family and Children’s Services recognizes that volunteers play a valuable and integral roll in the provision of service to children, youth and their families. Volunteers complement and enhance the service provided by our staff and assist in building connections between our clients and the community.
Volunteers offer a great deal of personal experience and knowledge that is invaluable to our clients. They work alongside staff, bringing their skills, energy and commitment to children & youth in our district.
Family and Children Services is now in the process of accepting applications for a variety of volunteer positions within the Agency. We are seeking individuals who are caring, responsible, mature, reliable, flexile, creative, enthusiastic and excellent with children and youth. Some of the volunteer opportunities include:
* Drivers
* Special Friends /Mentors
* Child Care Providers
* Tutors
* Special Events
* And much more
