Having just read the council briefs and seeing that the rec center is planning to renovate the facility, I can’t help but wonder what ever happened to those big “wall tents” that we used when we were in cubs and then later in Scouts? Remember they used to be stored under the stage upstairs where we had our meetings? My Dad tells me that they revamped the upstairs a number of years ago, please tell me someone, anyone thought to look under the stage before they covered it in. I also believe that the individual pack boxes were kept under there also. Just curious. It would be a shame knowing that equipment could be out camping and teaching kids about the outdoors instead of gathering dust.
