Searching for hat thief

Letter to the Editor:
STOLEN
Stolen. Yes, stolen. Not borrowed or misplaced, but stolen. Our son is a grade seven student at Riverview school. He had a fox racing hat (that is the name brand) stolen from him at school. No, not one hat, but two fox racing hats. This has happened since the new school year.
So if any of you parents out there that have kids with fox racing hats, other than the ones you may have bought for them, maybe find out where they got them.
Both of these hats were gifts from our sons grandmother. He doesn’t have the heart to tell her again about hat number two being stolen. She paid a lot of money for her grandson to have a nice hat, not for some stranger to be wearing it. So whoever has these hats, maybe they should thank her for them. I don’t know if it makes you feel good or not by stealing things, but maybe you could have a HEART and return them.
