Boshcoff wins RR-Thunder Bay riding

It was a cliffhanger finish for RR-Thunder Bay Liberal MP Ken Boshcoff and NDP challenger John Rafferty Monday evening.
With 105 of 203 polls reporting Rafferty had a narrow 87 vote lead.. Boshcoff then took the lead with 130 polls reporting, but just barely. He had 7,993 and Rafferty had 7,917.
In the end Boshcoff won with 13,525, Rafferty 12, 862, David Leskowski (Con) 10,485, Russ Aegard (GR) 1,189, Doug MacKay (M) 424.
Boshcoff will be a member of the official opposition to the new Conservative minority government.
