Crossing meeting set for tonight

Ken Johnston

In last week’s Record we reported that town council would be holding a public meeting about the possibility of closing the Little St. Railway crossing. The meeting is actually scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 7th (not last night as we reported).
Also if Little St. is closed the taxpayers will not have to pay $3,000 per year to maintain it.
The meeting is tonight, Feb. 7, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Seniors Activity Depot in the old CNR station. All are welcome to attend.
