Bergland 50+ group forms

The first meeting of the newly formed 50+ seniors group was held at the Bergland Hall on Wednesday, February 1st.
The purpose of the group is to get together for fun and recreation and to enjoy activities that are of special interest to the members. Some of the activities will include cards, carpet bowling, various board games, dancing, exercising, walking, ‘jamming’ having invited speakers in to address special interests and needs of the group; etc.
Regular meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. A Pot Luck Supper along with an evening of entertainment will be held on Saturday evenings two weeks after the regular monthly meeting. The Wednesday meetings will start at 2:00 p.m. and the Saturday supper will start at 5:00 p.m. All in the community are welcome to attend the Pot Luck Supper & evening of entertainment.
(All seniors 50 years + are invited to be part of the regular membership.)
The first Pot Luck Supper will be on February 18th at the Bergland Hall. Bring your favourite ‘pot’ to share & join us for an enjoyable social evening.
The next regular meeting will be on Wednesday, March 1st.
