Hospital Auxiliary donates $250 to Riverside Foundation

14 members came to our regular February meeting. We opened by all reading the Auxiliary prayer, followed by all reading the minutes of the last meeting, and Heather Anderson giving the financial report.
In business arising from the minutes, the aviary has been ordered, however the arrival date not confirmed. We were also asked to read the revised Constitution for Auxilairys sheets passed out at the last meeting. Some changes may have to be made.
Correspondence was on invitation to the Riverside Fund raising dinner March 4. No one is able to go, however it was felt that since we all benefit from monies raised we should also support it. A motion made to give $250 dollars was seconded and passed. A notice for a conference in Toronto for Volunteer leadership was tabled.
The only old business was the Valentine parties, one in the hospital, and one at the Activity depot.
Helpers and entertainment are all taken care of. Rose Hanson will play at the hospital Feb 14th, and Highway 621 will play at the activity depot. Come and help our Seniors have a good time.
Cards were sent to some of our members who are not feeling well, also to Iris Osadchuk in the loss of her husband.
This concluded our meeting and it was adjourned by Joan Hall. The next meeting is March 6th at the hospital.
