Hackers downed Record’s website last week

Last Tuesday many regular visitors to the Rainy River Record’s on line edition were disappointed to find that they could not access the site.

The site was knocked out of commission by a hacker or hackers who caused both the Record and Fort Frances Times’ sites to virtually disappear off the net.

After two days of hard work the electronic publishing division of the Fort Frances Times had the Record’s site back up and running.

The Record expresses its sincere thanks to the hard work of the staff at the Times who reconnected us to the world.
